I don’t understand NFTs?

NFTs, Non-Fungible-Tokens, are unique digital assets that can prove ownership and/or validate the authenticity of digital content, physical products and much more via blockchain technology.

The underlying value of an NFT comes from the Smart Contract, which can be programmed to perform and validate numerous functions.

Though NFTs can be in a variety of file formats, the basic idea is that they are unique, identifiable digital assets that can be bought and sold like traditional goods.

Why NFTs?

Blockchains and NFTs provide a new way to think about digital ownership. As an artist, I love the idea of owning my own assets and engaging directly with my customers.

Moreover, NFTs create new conversations and social structures around identity, consumption and privacy, which we are keen to be a part of.

How do NFTs work?

NFTs are able to prove ownership and validate authenticity of goods because they are built on blockchain technology. For example, Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana and Polygon are all different types of blockchains.

The various blockchains transact in slightly different ways, so each blockchain has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, they all allow users to create and own unique digital assets/tokens that can be transacted on their particular blockchain system.

(The most popular NFT projects have been built on Ethereum. As the blockchains are different, an Ethereum NFT will not work on the Solana blockchain.)

Where does my NFT go?

To transact in the web3 space you will need a crypto wallet
Wallets are used to store and transact cryptocurrencies on different sites across the web. Your wallet is the interface that allows you to interact in the web3 space. It's also where your NFT will live once purchased.

If you purchase an NFT with a credit card, Crossmint will automatically create a "wallet" for you.

What is minting?

Minting is the process of entering new information on the blockchain. Once the information is validated, a new block is “minted” and the information is officially on the blockchain, forever.

When you “mint” an NFT you are officially deploying it onto the blockchain, and in essence saying, I am the first owner of this asset.

How do I buy a Cratz Club NFT?

To buy an NFT, visit to the Cratz Club Collection

At the top of the page you will see a widget prompting you to "buy with Ethereum" or to "Buy with a Credit Card". Choose the option that makes most sense for you.

If you are purchasing an NFT with Ethereum, you will need enough money to cover gas fees (network taxes). You should always have more money than they base price of an NFT you want to purchase to ensure that you can successfully complete the transaction.

How much do the NFTs cost?

Each NFT in the Cratz Club Collection is .077 Eth + gas fees. This equates to roughly $150 per NFT.

(Price will vary based on the price of Ethereum and "gas" (transaction) fees.)

What are gas fees?

Any action taken on the Ethereum Blockchain requires "gas". Gas is the amount of computational effort that it takes to execute, or validate a transaction on the Ethereum blockchain.

Gas fees change based on the amount of network traffic. The more transactions are occuring at one time, the more energy is needed to verify them, leading to higher gas fees.

You can track gas fees here: https://etherscan.io/gastracker

How many can I purchase?

You can purchase up to 3 NFTs per wallet

Are you on Opensea?

Once an NFT is minted from our website you will be able to find it on Opensea.

Will there be more Trip Good NFTs?

Yes. We plan on creating more NFTs as part of the Cratz Club collection and we also have other fun projects in the works. Stay tuned!

I own an NFT, how do I receive my discount?

When you visit our site there is a pop-up box prompting you to connect your wallet. Once connected, if you own an NFT you will automatically receive discounts to our store.

If you have any issues, please email us at info@tripgood.io

What's the official contract address for the Cratz Club Collection?

0x9865dE1Ad381f8C6290aFe18E54481E4C6dDD126

Why does the widget say 141?

There are only 140 NFTs. We found an issue with one of our first pieces so we had to re-deploy it.
